    The cost is only $700 per month, and we accept government assistance. We can help you obtain and maintain government assistance until you can get back on your feet with a more permanent source of income.

  • What are the house rules like?

    Our rules are clear and designed to support sobriety and personal growth. These include attending recovery meetings and maintaining a substance-free environment. We also enforce a culture of respect and courtesy toward everyone living in the house.

  • How long can someone stay at Housing FGC?

    The length of stay depends on individual progress. Our program helps residents transition to self-sufficient housing, so the duration varies.

  • What kind of recovery support services are offered?

    We provide in-house recovery meetings, connections to off-property meetings (like Alcoholics Anonymous), and community resources for employment, education, and overall mental health.

  • Is Housing FGC certified by any organization?

    We are working with the Maine Association of Recovery Residences (MARR) and have been entirely MARR certified as a treatment center since May 2025. This reflects our high ethical standards and implementation of best practices.
